What is Galirik?
How many times have you been siting in your free time, bored wondering what other people are doing at that moment, don’t you ever wish you could see if there are any events happening around you that you and your friends could attend, or maybe even start your own event? Galirik is a social networking app that allows you to use your phone to help make in person connections. How it works is lets say Jack and Jill both have Galirik downloaded on their phone, if given permission by Jack and Jill Galirik will allow Jack and Jill to see each others location and it allows them to see if there is a event that the other person is attending. What if there is no event for Jack and Jill to attend? No problem Jack and Jill can start their own event on Galirik and either share it just with friends or they can make it public so that everyone in that area can see the event. Events can be anything from “Frisbee in the park” to an entire party with a specific date and details on the party.
